Although I’m aiming for Lindsay Lohan-length locks, there’s nothing like a new haircut to chop away the blues. Last week I trooped over to Tony & Jackey’s near our house. I usually go to Piandre, but I wanted a haircut pronto and T&J was just a couple of blocks away from my house. No pics, but I can tell you the facilities and service were great. And P300 for a haircut from a Korean girl wearing rockstar shades and a sequin-embellished vest? Worth every penny.

I’m not sporty. Although I can be, or I wouldn’t have lasted in a sports magazine for a long time. Hehe. After that long stint, I acquired a taste for a little bit of sport in my wardrobe. Here’s one of my finds which I initially borrowed for a cover shoot I did. I ended up ordering one for myself from Nike Time. Hahaha. That’s one of the pitfalls of styling, you try your very best not to purchase the stuff you’ve pulled out. Especially me.

A cute (but I think gay), guy came up to me and asked where he could get a necklace like mine.
Anyhoo, it’s been a while since I posted a parting shot. Here’s one I took of my editor when we climbed Mt. Pulag (see, I told you I can be sporty) two years ago. He did have second thoughts of bringing me to the climb, but hey, I survived AND handled the whatnots of the trip the same time. Although JR, the artist, was the one who put up the tent. Then another guy did the cooking. Then my editor was the one who carried my water bottle. Then… err.. I handled all the money? HAHAHA. But given the chance, I’ll do the climb all over again, and next time hopefully, see the sunrise.

I usually partner this type of outfit with the oversized blazer I bought last year for P300 in some nameless bazaar. Its cut is similar to boyfriend blazers but when I bought it, it was just an overrun, oversized blazer that my mom hated. Haha. I’ll post it next time. Anyway, I usually nick my brother’s belt (his polos, his shirts; he in turn nicks my sports watches) when he’s not using it because it pulls the outfit together. Anyway, the gremlin was using it, so no belt.
