Itchy feet…
Tuesday, September 1st, 2009…sounds gross. But what I mean is, I want to pack my bags and travel somewhere away from the urban jungle. I used to travel quite often for work, but I had to prioritize a couple of things for a while. Now I’m getting this strong feeling of wanderlust again. I can’t keep still.
Below is a picture I took with my dingy point and shoot camera in 2007. Behind that wall of fog is Mt. Kinabalu, at the bottom of the picture you’ll see two figures who just finished a climb. It’s a beautiful, beautiful, place. And so cold and damp that you can see your breath! I can remember standing at the edge of the lookout point and taking big gulps of the cold air. I miss it and would not mind going back for a second round. I stayed in Kota Kinabalu for a week for work! It was like 25% work, 75% leisure. People were so friendly, and the food mostly consisted of seafood! My favorite! Blisssss. I WANT AND NEED A VACATION!!! Huhuhu.

Now I’m back to the real world of deadlines. I hope I get a travel assignment soon. *cross fingers*
