Friend = It’s my second day today
Me = We really are friends, I’m about to have my period too. Frankly, women should be entitled to have a five-day leave every month, we’ll call it “red alert”.
“Ma’am, I can’t come in today, red alert. See you in five days.”
Friend = Hahaha. If it’s going to be that way, no company will hire women anymore.
Me = then we’ll sue them, discrimination against God’s creation!
Friend = hmmm… very goddess-like…
Me = There’s even a legal term for it, in contracts I think, like when you can’t hold a company liable for damages incurred because of floods, typhoons… natural tragedies outside people’s control, an Act of God.
That’s what we are an ACT OF GOD.
