About a girl
Minay is a writer, starving writer, struggling writer, raketera, start-up stylist, ex-smokin’ sportswoman, events dabbler, and poser photographer. She is known more for being a raketera, and used to be a writer / consultant for a digital counterpart of a business (yes, the validity of this will come into question when you see how she handles her finances) magazine.
This does not include her stints in sports and motoring events, and to different publications on anything ranging from sports, fashion, and even parenthood…. although she has no kids and is constantly told ‘you smoke too much’. She hopes to write a book for pure profit only, and then write a book that she actually likes.
Aside from raketeering to be able to purchase a pair of shoes, she also handles public relations for a luxury hotel and leisure group.
Although she works a lot, she recently closed her bank account to switch to time deposit because she constantly blows her salary on books, clothes, and coffee. Dancing is her weakest point, and if you want to hit her where it hurts, tell her you can book her a night with Shia LaBeouf if she can do the ‘Running Man’.
FeedMyVanity is her attempt to organize her life, write about it, and hope people can learn something from her experiences (or lack thereof). It mostly contains stuff about writing itself, fashion, books, travel, photos, and relationships. Apparently, she gives good relationship advice, because she doesn’t suffer fools gladly, only herself.
Her first love may have spectacularly failed her expectations; But travel, her second love, is a consistent lover. Writing may not pay much, but it sure as hell can take you places!
People who want to become writers should look for another career, but if you want to subject yourself to a life of constant paranoia and railing against the forces that be ‘why am I doing this?!’, then do become a writer, buy her coffee and maybe she can help, or maybe she can talk you out of it.
